Happy February everyone! February is one of our favorite months … trees are budding, flowers start to peek out, spring is coming! And one of our favorite holidays is in February too — VALENTINE’S!
Since becoming a parent Valentine’s has taken on a different feel. Long gone are grand romantic gestures and long weekends of snuggling. Now our lives are filled with crafts and date nights scheduled weeks in advance and requiring planning. But we still love it!
Here at PDX Kids Calendar we are feeling quite lucky to have pulled together some fun giveaways for Valentine’s 2013 and are very excited to be kicking it off with a combo — a special Valentine’s night out with childcare and a fun romantic activity.
Start off by dropping the kids at Art ala Cart for Valentine’s Parents night out for up to 2 children. Evening includes heart shaped pizza, cookie decorating and open studio with the kiddos from 5:00pm-8:30pm. Then grab dinner at one of many wonderful N/NE restaurants before heading over to Mimosa Studios on Alberta for 2 seats at their Valentine’s event, along with a $30 gift certificate to spend that evening! Mimosa will provide a romantic venue for your perfect Valentine’s date, serving champagne and chocolates in their cozy studio complete with your favorite love songs.
