Join us this weekend for the world premiere adaptation of Margery Williams’ classic story, The Velveteen Rabbit! This performance is brought to stunning life in a remarkable new partnership between Hillsboro’s Bag & Baggage Productions. Combining B&B’s professional actors with the magical puppetry of Tears of Joy Theatre, this world premiere adaptation will be a theatrical event for the whole family. Adapted by David Jenkins, The Velveteen Rabbit tells a timeless tale of the power of acceptance and how love can make all things possible.

Join us this weekend for this wonderful show! Have your kids bring their favorite toy and have their photo taken by local family photographer Jennifer Murdock in our Toy Room Photo Booth (created with generous donations from Coffee Kids, Child’s Play Toys, Learning Palace and Kids at Heart Toys). All toys donated will be giving to Toys for Tots. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a new toy for those less fortunate. This show is an official drop location for Toys for Tots.

All matinees also feature pre-show crafts and live rabbits looking for a home from Rabbit Advocates. They’ll be there to tell you what you need to know to welcome a bunny as your newest family member.
