Join us every Thursday in July from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Ecotrust’s Natural Capital Center (721 NW 9th Ave., Portland) for a series of FREE outdoor concerts featuring top notch, homegrown music from Portland’s hopping music scene, plus frosty beverages and local fare from Laughing Planet and Hot Lips Pizza.

This weeks event on Thursday, July 19th features the theme “Honoring FOOD”. Come out and enjoy musical stylings from Holcombe Waller with Sarah Jackson-Holman.

We (PDX Kids Calendar) will be hosting a creative Sundown Kid’s Corner for the little ones – with photo fun, crafts and activities for kids and their families with our friends at Children’s Healing Arts Project (CHAP). Join us as we make wind-catchers and paper animal masks using paper, yarn, fabric scraps, scissors and markers. We will also be passing out our awesome reusable shopping bags filled with good info from lots of local businesses.

Connect with community at the Innovation Showcase, a street fair-style exhibition with interactive booths hosted by inspiring organizations whose work corresponds with each evening’s theme.
