We had such fun at the Superhero Fun Run benefiting OMHOF on the rainy morning of July 15th! This amazing inaugural event was hosted by Stumptown Events with the help of many other wonderful organizations.
The morning of the run – we braved the rain and set up our big rainbow umbrella and two colorful tables at the Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade. We invited our friends from Wildwood Nature School and Adventure WILD Day Camp to come do crafty activities and they were wonderful inviting racers to come and make superhero cuffs and masks!
The race began after 9 with many families doing the family fun run, 2K or 5K. Crossing the finish line not long after – they were a bit wetter but still SUPER! We all headed out to the Blitz Ladd for some tasty food, amazing giveaways and more crafty goodness.
Huge thanks to local mommy photographer Emilia Brasier for taking these amazing shots of all the fun we had that day!
For those who came and played with us – thank you! Below are most of the images we captured in our “Photo Fun Booth”. If there’s an image that you’d like a high resolution copy sent to you, please email tabitha at pdxkidscalendar.com.
