La Leche League. is another great resource for breastfeeding help. Located in several areas; please call or visit the website for the location best for you.

And Nursing Mothers Counsel offers classes across town in addition to free telephone consultations for breastfeeding questions. (I’ve used them and they are fantastic.) The number is 503 282 3338.

If you had a hospital birth, you should also check to see if the hospital has lactation consultants on staff.  Often they are available to consult for free, and may even make house visits.

Fay Bosman, IBCLC of Clark County Mother Nurture, leads free infant feeding support groups at the Vancouver Cotton Babies store most Mondays at 10am. All parents deserve support, whether breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing or formula-feeding. Groups focus on infant feeding topics and mutual encouragement. Free baby weight checks available. (Please note: This group will not address individual issues that need more intensive and professional care.) No registration required.
