Can you think of a better way to spend your school holidays than forming your very own band and getting to perform for all your family and friends? Forget all your preconceived notions of “band camp” – this is something different!
At Sound Roots School of Music’s Summer Camp, kids ages 6-14 get matched up to six bandmates of similar age and skill level. Together, they name their band, choose a song to learn, design fliers and even learn to write their own songs! At the end, there is a performance at a local music venue — a REAL show, played to adoring fans, on-stage, LIVE! All skill levels welcome – even total beginners.
Week long camps available through July and August.
