GIVEAWAY: Spanish Mini-Camps from Portland Early Learning Project

SLIP Logo FLAG 2011

Adventures in Spanish, in conjunction with Portland Early Learning Project, is excited to announce our new Spanish Mini-Camps! The first two camps will have a cool wintery theme. Your children will have a chance to play games, sing songs, snack on palomitas (popcorn), and make (and sip!) Mexican hot chocolate!

These Spanish Mini-Camps will be led by PELP’s fabulous Spanish instructor and trained art teacher, Gina, who also co-runs the Youth Art Program at the 100th Monkey Studio. They have a total of six mini-camps planned from January through May. They are offering a discount if you enroll your child in two camps, then you receive $5 off a third camp (use secret coupon code ¡hola!).

What makes Spanish Language in Play unique? PELP understands that children (and adults!) learn best when having fun and feeling successful. They keep that at the heart of every lesson. In their immersion-style classes, they honor a broad spectrum of learning styles by using unique communication-based games and activities that intrigue students, encourage spoken Spanish, strengthen literacy skills, and increase confidence. Classes are kept small to ensure that each student gets lots of practice and individualized attention.

Portland Early Learning Project teaches their unique Spanish Language in Play curriculum throughout the greater Portland area in a variety of venues including Family Spanish (18mo-5yrs), Preschool Spanish (3-5yrs), Elementary Spanish (K-3rd & 3rd-5th), private Spanish classes, and summer Spanish camps!

Registration is open now on the Portland Early Learning Project website. Feel free to contact Jessica (at) portlandearlylearning.com for additional information.

We are excited to be giving away two $25 vouchers for PELPs Spanish programs, which may be used for any mini-camp or toward any other Spanish Language in Play program.

All the PELP classes look great! I wouldn’t know any other themes to suggest… I would love for my children to be introduced to another language while they are young, so that it isn’t as difficult for them to learn other languages later on.
