Oregon is a fantastic place and there is so much to do. Right now, at the start of summer, there are seemingly limitless opportunities to get out and do stuff and inevitably, you miss something that you’ve been meaning to check out. Whether that’s Bridge Pedal or the Pendleton Roundup or just prime peach-picking season, check out this amazing poster by local artist Amanda Erickson!. She made this poster so that she would never miss her favorite event ever again!
This perpetual calendar covers all* the seasons and events that occur throughout Oregon. It’s organized by date, top to bottom (solstices and equinoxes are marked), and geographically, left to right. Coastal events are on the left, Eastern Oregon on the right. The raindrops represent events or seasons that occur over a period of time. And the dots are for events with a fixed date.

Fantastic for families as an educational tool, it’s designed to give you a sense of the ebb and flow of life here in Oregon. You will also likely discover some events and seasons that are new to you and your family!
*Caveat: it’s possible that your favorite event or season may have been missed – Amanda would love to know! You can contact her here: http://www.oregonisawesome.com/contact/
