FROGZ is an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike. It has been seen on stage and television by over a million people.
The ingenious masks, mesmerizing movement, outlandish costumes, and original music score create a carnival of the absurd, presenting universal themes with a light touch, as animals take on human characteristics and inanimate objects like a giant paper bag and musical windbags engage in silly situations. Joining this cacophony are alligators, glow strings, penguins playing musical chairs, giant rolling orbs running wild through the audience with a larger than life baby, and an endless cowboy are just some of the incredible creatures that come to life in this fantastical show that has been acclaimed worldwide for over three decades.
For many, Imago Theatre and FROGZ are synonymous. FROGZ put Imago on the international map. The simplicity and the charm of the show catapulted the production to two Broadway runs at the acclaimed New Victory Theatre in 2000 and 2002. Variety Magazine called it “Felliniesque mayhem.” The New York Times raved “A mastery of mime, dance and acrobatics.”
